This policy covers Poké Life ("we").
What we collect today
- No accounts, logins, or profiles.
- No advertising or analytics cookies. We count visits with Clicky, set up without cookies. They record the pages you view, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. Clicky anonymizes your IP address before storing it, and neither builds a profile that follows you to other sites.
- Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Third parties that see your visit
Card images currently load from third-party image hosts (Scrydex). Like any web request, those hosts receive your IP address and browser details. We tell your browser not to send them the page you were on.
Our analytics script loads from Clicky (getclicky.com), which receives your IP address, browser details, and the page you're viewing. See Clicky's privacy policy.
Giveaway visit counter
When the giveaway launches, we'll count reader visits without cookies, using a one-way fingerprint of the connection that resets every day, so it can't follow anyone from day to day. How it works has the details.
Information you give us
- Email: if you write to us, we keep the conversation to answer it.
- Giveaway entries (at launch): your email, used to confirm your entry, run the drawing, and contact winners. We also keep a record of what you agreed to and when (the eligibility statement, the Official Rules version, and any newsletter opt-in), plus a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address, your browser type, and your approximate location (country and state) to stop duplicate and automated entries. We can't turn that code back into your IP address. We ask winners, and only winners, for their name and a shipping address.
- Email updates (at launch): your email, used only to send them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Before we add ads or cookies
We'll update this policy first and, where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), ask for your consent before any advertising or analytics cookies are set.
Sharing
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the site (such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that giveaway entries come from people), or when the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@poke-life.com. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13, and the giveaway is open only to adults 18 and older.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and describe material changes here.
