What we do
Most pull-rate numbers online are repeated from one source to the next until nobody remembers where they came from. We go back to the original physical openings, check the counts, and publish each rate with its sample size, a 95% range, and a plain-language label for how sure we are. Today that covers 24 sets, built from 25 verified openings.
Next to the odds we show daily market prices, so you can see what a pack is really worth and whether buying the single is cheaper than chasing it. The methodology explains every step, and the open data lets you check our work.
Who runs the site
Poké Life is independent. We're collectors ourselves, and we're not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, or TCGplayer.
Editorial team
Research articles are bylined Team Poké Life: our in-house research desk, the people who find openings, check the counts, and write up what the numbers show. Every figure in an article is pulled from the same evidence registry as the set pages, so when a rate or price updates, the article updates with it.
- Rates only count openings we can verify against the original article, video, or tally.
- Each article shows when its numbers were last checked.
- Nobody pays to change a number. Ads, affiliate links, and sponsors never feed into rates or rankings.
Corrections
If you find a wrong number, email contact@poke-life.com with the page and what you think it should say. We check it against the source, fix confirmed errors, and update the page's "checked" date.
How we're funded
The site will be paid for by ads, affiliate commissions, and sponsorships, and half of that revenue goes to the community giveaway. The disclosure page has the details.
